Good Monday Morning!   What about this sunshine!   Oh and if you like today’s weather for this March the 8^th 2010 then prepare to like tomorrow and the next day because were going to see the likes of 10 or 50 outside and SUNSHINE!

Ok, so all season long I have been behind the OHL Niagara Ice Dogs.  Its no secret I’m a big Head Coach Mike McCourt fan and all season I’ve said, yes it’s a tough run so far but wait for the trade deadline and the dogs will make a playoff run.  And before Christmas when the Dogs were the worst team in the league I still said wait til the New Year!   And now I can say, I WAS RIGHT!

Yup, the Dogs had a great January, a pretty ok February and now have won 3 straight in March (their first 3 game winning streak all season).  They are 7^th and one point back of 6^th and 3 games are left.   So basically Ill see you this Thursday vs Mississauga and this Saturday against Belleville.

Also, for the hockey fans, how cool is this.  I am a TV reporter in Hamilton for the AHL and this past Friday the Chicago Wolves were in Hamilton to meet the Bulldogs and I got to interview Chris Chelios!   He told me he still plays for the love of the game and if its not the NHL or the AHL it would bee a 5 night a week beer and pizza league!  Check out the pic!
