Alright people, its time to get excited, your OHL Niagara IceDogs are soooooooo close to the playoffs.  You could literally feel the post season in the air at the rink last night as your dogs beat Erie for the first time this year, 5-3.  Now here’s the deal.  The dogs are chasing a whole wack of teams for spots 6,7,8 and they are currently 9^th with 5 points making the difference between an early exit.

Tonight, in Erie is a MUST win and Sunday too at HOME vs Kingston.  Doug Gilmour (coach) and his team are in Niagara for a 2pm puck drop (pre game here on the River at 130pm) and Kingston is one of those teams Niagara is chasing for 6,7 and 8^th place.  SO come to the game, cheer with me and get your team going and then take em to the playoffs.

Also if you don’t mind, just for me, send negative vibes out to Sudbury, Brampton, Oshawa, Kingston(of course) and Belleville who is just below us in the standings.   It’s a close race.

OH and incase you didn’t know, my ‘pretend’ boyfriend and my FAV Michael is doing a tour.  (yes I like this one more than head coach Mike McCourt of your IceDogs)   Michael Buble.  Ahhhhh even writing his name makes me happy.  If he hasn’t met you yet, then guess what?   Check him out at the London show Aug 9 or the ACC on Aug 10.  Yes, we have to wait til then, but its so worth it!
