Our Station

At 105.1 MHz, 15,000 watts and the transmitter located off Holland Rd., in Thorold, Ontario, The River is the Niagara Region’s only home-based Hot Adult Contemporary radio station.

Community focus is a hallmark of The River. Our involvement ranges from support of various community events year round, with our street team and Community Cruiser program, to a wide variety of fundraising activities such as our Good News Breakfast, Big Brothers/Big Sisters Bowl for Kids, and our support for the United Way. Our ‘What’s Happening’ community information updates are broadcast six times a day, seven days a week, and posted on our website. We are the radio station that rolls up our sleeves and gets involved in the community. We’re committed!
